After being contacted by General Electric and Briggs and Stratton in the fall of 2013 with an invitation to become an authorized dealer to sell their residential generators Tim Hodnicki began developing the concept for Generator Boss as a division of Easthampton Electrical Service. In addition to quality materials from their nationally recognized company, GE is offering financing as an option for homeowners who are eligible.
The decision to partner with GE was an easy one, due to the high number of inquiries about generators Easthampton Electrical Service received from customers, as well as their own personal experiences with dealing with the results of power outages caused by severe weather conditions (snow storms, ice, hurricanes, tornadoes, etc.) For Tim, hurrying home from work to start up a portable generator for his family.
After taking a look at the local market, Tim realized that there were retail companies who only sold generators to homeowners, and there were electricians who only wired those generators; but Generator Boss is the only company that will visit the customer’s home for a specialized consultation, help choose the appropriate-sized unit for the customer’s specific needs, and then, after the generator is installed, will service and maintain it.
The GE and Briggs and Stratton residential generators can be powered by natural gas or propane and will automatically engage when the utility power source goes off. Easthampton Electrical Service has been in business since 1955, and has been installing commercial generators for 40 years. We currently have three factory-trained electricians/technicians who can offer homeowners solutions to their questions……..Where do I purchase a generator? Who will deliver it, run the gas line, and do the wiring? Who will service and maintain the generator and ensure that it works when I need it most?……..
